On Saturday On Saturday morning we drove all the way to Auckland

 It was a very long way. My brother got car sick and we had to stop on the side of the road. I felt sad because he puked a lot. When we got to Auckland we drove all the way to the movies. My nan got a movie. It was called The Emoji movie. I felt amazing. I felt as happy as a clown. It was funny too. Then we walked all the way to the mall. It was very far away and me and my brother had a race to the mall. I was quick as lightning. I came first in our race. We walked to the mall and we got some fish and chips. They were delicious. Not long after that we drove all the way back to Kaikohe. When we drove back I had a sleep. It was a very long sleep. My brother had slept too. Finally when we got home we parked the car up and we walked to the park. We played for one hour then we walked to McDonald’s. My nan had a kiwi burger and me and my brother had a drink. It was a blueberry. My brother had a blueberry too. We walked home When we got home we sat down on the chair and finished our drink. Then we got our togs and walked outside and put our togs on. Next we walked into our pool. It was very cold. I was splashing my brother. I had a very fun time.

A letter to my Nana and Dad

 I am learning to talk about my ideas.

I wanted to share my ideas about sound with my family.

Dear Nan and Dad.

We have been learning about sound.

Did you know that there are particles all around 

us and you can’t see the particles. 

Sound is made by vibrations. The vibrations make the particles in the air move. This makes sound waves that take the sound to your ear. 

If you put a tuning fork that is vibrating next to a Ping  pong ball, it can bounce. If you put sprinkles on top of a glad wrap bowl and you make a loud sound, the sprinkles jump. This happens because the vibrations make things move.

There is no air in space. The astronauts have to take air with them. If they did not take air with them, they would not be able to breathe. In space there is no air and no sound. Sound needs air to move

On Friday morning  I woke  up and I got a shock. I heard rushing, gushing  rain. It sounded like crashing, splashing,

 banging, bashing. My nan woke up to she got a shock too. My brother woke up. He got a shock too. We all went to the window. I saw rushing, gushing rain. It was raining hard out. 

I said, “I´m staying inside until the rain stops and I’m going to watch movies all day.

 I was excited. I thought It was going to be an amazing day. 
 My Papa ordered first. He got the food and we ate chips and we drank a fanta and coke. My nan had a Burger. It was amazing. 
 Next we went to the shop to get my nan a Ladder. 
After that we went to my Uncle and Aunty’s house. 
 We played with my cousin in the front lawn. 
We played hide and seek with my cousin. 
My cousin found me first. I was the winner of the game. 
I had a drink of water. I felt excellent. I thought it was cool. 
I had a great time.

On Monday.

Here is my story about what I did in the weekend. I hope everyone enjoys reading my story.

On Monday morning.
On Monday morning my nana and I went to the Warehouse in Kaikohe to get some lollipops and clothes.
After we bought the clothes we went back home and put on our clothes to see if they fit. They were pink and white and black pants.
Then we went back down town again to get some bread
and McDonald’s. My nana had a fizzy drink and my Dad had a Burger. Me and my brother had a Happy Meal.
After that we went to the park to have our McDonald's and to have a play. I played on the swing.  My brother was playing on the slide. I felt excellent and I thought this was so amazing.
